Photographer's Note
"The lady of the house"! This is the title for the new horror movie of Alfred Hichtcock:)...i can imagine the background sound "tininini tininini ton ton ton ton" :)! This beautifull lady can be seen in Aveiro, on the left of the estuary but at the end of the picture! She can really call people´s attention, maybe scare them some times, if you look closer, her face is...well, NOT BEAUTIFULL, maybe because she is made of cement but i like the way she uses her hair, with fruits and flowers! This is the face of a building, which i don´t know if it is a house or some kind of museum, it was really early when i took this shot, there were not many people to ask for information and i don´t recall seeing any sign at the entrance, but i promisse i will found out something and then you´ll be the first one to know!
Critiques a very much apreciated!

Nice catch, catcher! ;-)
I think this picture could also work with the balustrade exluded, the ornament as a subject suits a pano frame well. She certainly has got something... Her smile does seem uncomfortable, doesn't it?

A beautifull ornament Bruno. I agree with Edwin that this shot woudl work both with and without the balustrades. There is something scarry about her face but i can't say exactly what. Her eyes mabye. I think you could try and sharpen it some more, to bring out the details of the flowers and mabye also use curves to lighten it a bit. The center compo work well here i think.

Good shot Bruno. I like the detail of the facade. The symmetry of the shot is also spot on. Wondering if this scene is more suited to a vertical frame - so as to include more of the doorways. Otherwise well done.

What is captivating in this picture is the looks of the statue. Very good angle and good symetric shot!

Wonderful capture Bruno! Your composition is great, creating an interesting play with shapes and textures. The lady smile is kind of enigmatic..well seen :)
