Photographer's Note
Hello again, my TE friends!
Today I bring to you a parcial view of the Monserrate Palace, located in the Monserrate Park (in Monte-da-Lua – Sintra).
This amazing palace had been constructed between 1860 and 1863, by order of Francis Cook, under James Knowles Jr ‘s project (a british architect).
In dimensions, it corresponds to a previous palace, with neo-classic lines, constructed on that same place in 1791, by order of Gerard Devisne.
The actual palace constructed in the 19th century, represents a unique case of romantism in Portugal, with some oriental inspirations, and it is completely surrounded by the luxurious and impressive vegetation of the Monserrate Park.
I really hope you like it, my cherished friends!

É pena a sobre-exposição no canto superior esquerdo.
Bom fim de semana,
Aires

Hello Rosa.
Very interesting angle here. The detail of the palace is beautiful and the lush colors surrounding really add to the oppulance. It looks like a wonderful place to stroll through. Good job handling the exposure of the sky...it seems quite bright, but there are still hints of blue to be found.
Regards,
CHris.

Hi Rosa,
The low angle view really gives one a feeling of depth and proportion, with the myriad of hues blending nicely together. The red vine really denotes autumn. I like the varying layers of architecture and clarity of detail. Well captured, Rosa.

Ola Rosa, I really like how you have built up the composition here, the diagonal progression is very good, as is the tight frame, allowing to concentrate on the neo-classical lines and neo-gothic windows framed by greenery and red leaves. Everything works nicely together.
Cheers

Fica bem.

Olá Rosa,
beautiful colors, but a bit suffering from the overexposure. I like your compisition with the upgoing view with all those green, red and orange.

As cores e texturas
são lindas.
Grande abraço e parabéns!

Hello Rosa,
Resembling an artist's palette, you have assembled a magnificent melange of colors, and presented them in a composition perfectly conceived, and masterfully executed. This is also exquisite "two point perspective," art theorists, starting with Leonard da Vinci spoke of. Looking at the corner of a building, the lines extrapolated from the rooflines, lentils and windows all convege at a pair of vanishing points on the horizon line. (This device can be used in checking the linearity of a lens.)
PS I mentioned in a previous note that I had seen the "fairy tale-like" 19th century castle in Sintra. I see now that this was the castle.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Bom dia Rosa,
Beijinhos,
Ricardo
