Photographer's Note

Finished more one beach day, come back to home. A romantico environment, a soft breeze, the sun says goodby. We are in the Guincho beach.

Guincho - 10 Km from center of Cascais city, lying at the foot of the Sintra hills and facing the Atlantic, should not be missed. This beach is close the westernmost point in continental Europe (Cape Roca). The sand dunes blend subtly with the pine trees, the sea - rich in fish - rushes here and there into majestic caverns such as the famous Boca do Inferno which is well worth a visit. The vegetation is varied and beautiful and mostly of the Mediterranean type. Guincho has always been ideal for surfing owing to the large breakers, but it is now becoming increasingly known for wind surfing - a sport much developed over the last few years.

Colours are so beautiful here. The flas in parituclar gave you the bility to get this "flashy" green on the algae while keeping the silhouette/sunset intact. very well done.

Greetings Aires, i thought you were going to be gone for awhile...missed some shots of yours.
Anyhow, the color in this photograph is amazing. The green glow of the horizon making the silhouetted rocks texture stand out even more. I just now noticed the waves breaking and throwing their spray to the wind. Looks very good.

Magnifica composicion. Quede fascinado con las diferentes planos en esta fotografia. Comenzando con las plantas acuaticas en primer plano, siguiendo con el reflejo de la roca gigante y la roca en si misma. Para terminar, ese muy bien capturado atardecer en el horizonte que es cortado por la roca.

I think that this picture is not so romantic. The rock looks like the head of a wolf, waiting in the evening for its prey. The colours in the sky and the waves are amazing. Very moody picture.

Bela foto deste final de tarde no Guincho. Gosto muito da fvrente da imagem, das ondas a quebrarem e das cores do céu, só tenho pena de năo se verem mais detalhes desta rocha que aparece no centro da foto no entanto a sua silhueta cria um belo efeito contra este céu magnifico.

Esta está fantástica Aires. Até parece que usaste flash, iluminando a verdura em 1ş plano. Belos contrastes e cores suaves no céu deste fim de uma tarde verăo. Excelente composiçăo com aquela grande silhueta rochosa a dominar a imagem. Gosto muito da rebentaçăo da onda. Muito bonita!

Hello Aires,
voilŕ une ambiance tout-ŕ-fait spéciale avec des couleurs peu communes, le vert et l'émeraude ne sont pas des teintes habituelles dans un ciel.
Cela démarque ce coucher de soleil de tous les autres.
Excellent contre jour avec des silhouettes précises; le cadrage est parfait.
