Photographer's Note
These are the peaks Caraiman (2384 m) and Costila (2498 m), from left to right, in the southern Carpathian mountains, the Bucegi. On the top of Caraiman there is a WWII monument in form of a 30 m cross, barely visible in this picture. I also have another picture from the plateau behind these mountains.
I deliberatley increased contrast in this picture to accentuate the mountains dissapearing in the bright clouds.

I like the atmosphere in this shot, Simon. The darkness, the clouds, the fog - all is very well captured in a good composition. And then there is this surprising beam of light falling on the mountain in the back. Some might say this is grainier than it should be, but I think in this case it enhances the overall mood. Very good!

My choise will be to make this pic in BW technique, because just dark and light shades its prevalent, without the colour accent. The small tower of the church could be a good composition if it would be more large. Anyway its very interesting motif.

Le panorama de ces montagnes est fort joli.
Le clocher est la pičce maîtresse de la photo.
Je trouve qu'il y'a un certains bruit sur le ciel mais qui n'enlčve pas grand chose a l’image.
Bonne prise Simon

Love the misty moody mountains and dark foreground. I actually like the little bit of blue sky showing against the rest of the grey/dark tones of the rest of the photo. Attractive composition.

Immagine molto spigolosa, con contrasti forti, molto bella! Grande suggestione arricchita anche dalla presa dal basso, che aumenta l'effetto crudemente realistico!
