Photographer's Note

The buildings in the valley are part of the town of Sinaia. Taken near the summit of Caraiman Peak, which is 2384 metres above sea level. The Bucegi Mountains are part of the southern Carpathian mountains where they join the Transylvanian Alps. At left is one of several chairlifts and gondolas taking tourists and skiers to & from the mountain. Another shot of Caraiman Peak from Wikipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caraiman_Peak#/media/File:Caraiman_Cross_on_Bucegi_mountain_top.jpg
