Hi Chris
I like your choice of black and white for this shot: it gives it more drama and enhances the graphic qualities. The inclusion of a figure in the shot also gives a focal point. Good control of contrast: many snow scenes can be disappointingly flat as the camera's meter is often fooled by the amount of brightness into under-exposure, thus rendering the white snow grey: not a problem here!

Hello Chris,

An exquisite shot with so many qualities. B&W fits very well. The place where the sole human figure standing is just perfect, by placing him just to the left of the open corridor perception of the depth was not spoiled. Tones of white and grey look so balanced and natural. I also liked the rendering of the image. TFS.
