Photographer's Note
This is the clock tower of Sighisoara in Transylvania, the same tower as in Eva's picture. I have a little correction concerning the connection between Vlad Tepes (Dracula) and Sighisoara: as I understood it he was only born here, he later on ruled Walachia (not Transylvania). Right under the tower is the museum of Torture.
Adjusmtents: I applied auto-equalize which made the colors a little brighter and gave more contrast. I also increased gamma slightly.
Thank you Michael for the information.

Very interesting Transylvanian architecture. I have seen other castles, seems me some kind of mixture between gothic and byzantine style. Good point of view on the clock tower. On the merit of count Dracula all romanian castles seems me frightening.

Bonne présentation.
Une image toute en longueur qui montre la taille de ce monument.
Le traducteur n'étant pas terrible si j'ai bien compris il s'agirais d'une partie du château du Compte Dracula ?
Bonne image Simon

Nice architecture shot! I like the composition and the point of view from where you took the picture. Just some more sharpness would be great. I made a WS.

This is the gate clock tower of the picturesque small old town of Sighisoara (Castrum Sex, Schäßburg, Schespurch, Seguswar, Zegiswar, Schäsbrich, Segesvár), also called the council tower because in the past it has served as the town hall. It nowadays houses the town's history museum. It is a mixture of gothic, renaissance and baroque architectural styles. The historical Dracula, Vlad Dracul the Impaler, was born in a house whithin the town walls, nearby the clock tower. The fortified old town of Sighisoara is supposed to be one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe.
