Bogata je sa deset termomineralnih izvora temperature od 32 do 40 celzijusovih stepeni, koji lece oboljenja kostiju, zglobova, misica i koze, a pomaze i kod opste iscrpljenosti organizma i kod posledica povreda, reume, bolesti nervnog sistema.
Prema arheoloskim nalazima za nju su znali jos Vizantinci, kasnije i stari Rimljani, pa prema tome spada u najstariju banju u Srbiji.
Puni procvat dozivljava nakon oslobadjanja ovih predela od Turaka, u doba Milosa Obrenovica. Na to vreme podseca tursko kupatilo (hamam), konak Kneza Milosa, izgradjen 1837. godine koji predstavljaju kulturna dobra pod zastitom drzave ali i dvorac kneza Aleksandra koji datira od 1856. godine.
U to vreme ona je sa pravom nosila ime “dvorske banje” pa su je posecivali i strani gosti.
Gostima koji borave u banji posebno prija stoletna šuma koja zahvata povrsinu od oko 90 hektara i koja pocasno nosi epitet najvece banjske sume u Evropi.
