Photographer's Note
Late summer afternoon, lazy a little, like everything in Vojvodina... :-) I was walking down the river banks, observing fishermen and grandparents with their grandchildren, and decide to capture this view of Petrovaradin fortress, Danube and the bridge.
This is Varadinska duga (Varadin Rainbow) bridge in Novi Sad, the capital city of northern Serbian province Vojvodina. On the place of this bridge was the other one, destroyed in NATO bombing in 1999. The present bridge was constructed at the same place, and put on the same pillars as the former one, a year latter in 2000.
