Cheshire Cats, a photo from Kosovo, South

An unexpected sighting of 2 Cheshire cats in Pristina, Kosovo! Lighting wasn't the best but at least I got the shot. There is a man on the upper balcony watching the 2 skateboarders at left. I pretty much said goodbye to summer when I caught a bus from Tirana Albania (elevation 110 metres) to Pristina (652 metres). Already it is 'Autumn', & the trees are turning red and gold.

Hello Chris,
The paintings certainly made these dull buildings look a lot nicer. The kids on skateboards seem to fit well into this kind of environment. This was well worth a snap despite the not totally perfect light.

I'm sure the Cheshire Cats were the inspiration for your photograph and certainly cheered up this rather austere buildings. The decoration hadn't been included in the design and so, possibly, had to be added by some adventurous artist!

A nice photo of these large grinning cats on the sides of the building. You included a nice bit of the street as well and also the reddish tones of the trees are pleasant.

A normal building, which has nothing special but that kind of cat with wings painted on its smooth walls and the beautiful color of the trees, achieves a pleasant set.

my home is at 650 meters altitude and there is some nice different when we are in the cities around 900 or 1000 meters high.
funny the cats with wings in the façade and the boys playing.
