Ulazni deo u Crkvu.

Deo ulaza i freske u Pravoslavnoc Crkvi Sveti Djordje u Cupriji.
Pravoslavna crkva u Cupriji podignuta je 1834. godine, po naredjenju tadasnjeg vladara Srbije, kneza Milosa Obrenovica .
Crkva je uradjena od klesanog kamena i nepecene cigle.
Ikonostas u crkvi je uradjen od drveta i datira iz perioda osvecenja crkve kad je zavrsena.
Volim da odem u Crkvu, gde za trenutak nadjem svoj mir.

Entrance to the Church.

Part of the entrance and fresco in the Orthodox Church of St. George in Cuprija.
The Orthodox Church in Cuprija was built in 1834, by order of the then ruler of Serbia, Prince Milos Obrenovic.
The church is made of carved stone and unbaked brick.
The iconostasis in the church is made of wood and dates from the period of consecration of the church when it was completed.
I like to go to church, where I find my peace for a moment.

Hello Pavle,

This is a light and airy church.
I like how the shaft of sunlight, coming through the door, reflects on the highly polished floor and seems to make a very welcoming entrance.
The interior walls of the church are furnished with lively, religious scenes, edged with geometric patterns, not so frequently seen in Catholic churches.

Zdravo Pavle,
ovde predivan enterijer. Zidovi su ukraeni na tradicionalan način, dok je pod tako sjajan i nov!
Sviđaju mi se pravoslavne slike koje su toliko prepune simbola i priča da se moe satima provoditi za njima.

Hello Pavle, the fresco seems more modern than the date you mention; it is very colourful and beautiful.
The open door lets in light, as well as allowing us to view what is outside the church.

Excellent light management.
Wonderful capture of the colourful paintings on the walls and the ceiling.
At the same time we get a clear view of the tree and some plants outside while their colours are well reflected on the gleaming floor of the church.

Hello Paja, Good that you can find the peace in this beautiful church. You need it at the moment. Beautiful fresco above the entrance. The typical representation of the Dormition scne, like in many oerthodox churches.

The interior of this new church is very beautiful, the paintings are a beauty and although current as they follow the criteria of past centuries, they are equally impressive, but with better lighting to enjoy them.
A magnificent color, which gives the image a lot of chromatic richness.
