Susara i silos.

Pogled na staru susaru i stari silos u Cupriji.
Silos (skladiste od grc. σ/ɛ/ιρός: jama za spremanje zita) je visoka gradjevina za smestaj zita, kukuruza, cementa i drugih zrnastih i praskastih proizvoda. U osnovi je cini jedan ili vise uspravnih cevastih rezervoara, najcesce kruznih, ali i cetvorougaonog, sestougaonog ili osmougaonog preseka, koji imaju levasto dno sa vratima za utovar u vozila i praznjenje. Pune se odozgo, mehanicki ili pneumatski. Grade se od celika ili betona.
Vlazno zrnevlje previre, a ako se ne provetrava redovno moze cak i da se ubudja ili samozapali. Zato se ono odlaze u silosima, sa posebnim sistemima koji omogucavaju uslove u kojima proizvodi nece proklijati, niti im preti opasnost od jake zime i vlage.
Vazduh se zagreva preko izmjenjivaca toplote voda/vazduh i reverzibilnim ventilatorima izlazi kroz kanale na podu silosa i kroz krovne nosace. Drugi sistem je klima uređaj koji odrzava vlagu vazduha u prostoru skladistenja na odredjenoj optimalnoj vrednosti. Kada se silos treba prazniti, otvaraju se zasuni u visini poda na sredisnjem tornju. Na svim presipnim mestima nalaze se prikljucci sistema za otprasivanje. Stvorena prasina izbacujese iz prostora silosa i izdvaja na cevnim filterima.

A silo (storage from the Greek σ / ɛ / ιρός: a pit for storing grain) is a tall building for storing grain, corn, cement and other granular and powder products. It basically consists of one or more upright tubular tanks, most often circular, but also quadrangular, hexagonal or octagonal in cross section, which have a left bottom with doors for loading into vehicles and emptying. They are loaded from above, mechanically or pneumatically. They are built of steel or concrete.
Wet grains boil, and if not ventilated regularly, they can even sting or ignite. That is why it is stored in silos, with special systems that enable conditions in which the products will not germinate, nor are they in danger of strong winter and moisture.
The air is heated via a water / air heat exchanger and reversible fans exit through channels on the silo floor and through roof racks. The second system is an air conditioner that maintains the air humidity in the storage space at a certain optimal value. When the silo needs to be emptied, the floor-level latches on the central tower open. Dust system connections are available at all filling points. The created dust is expelled from the silo space and separated on the pipe filters.
