not that great, there is lot of better photos done from this place, but I liked the light reflection on the water, the weather was overcast and some few drops where falling, but whatever the weather is, this place is charming, and even more than charming, enchanting

JC, this is a fine capture you have here. The colors are rich and alive and the composition makes the extraordinary into an everyday scene which is something most travelers will not feel in such a place. There are many others done of this place, this one makes it seem accessible, well done.

A good well balanced composition with the foreground boats nicely juxtapositioned against the church. The dull light is nicely relieved by the highlights across the rippling waters of the lake making for a nice atmosphere. Very good clarity.

The scene is almost like a fairy tale setting....castle on the island in the middle of a pretty lake.....lush greenery surrounding....and of course the prince and princess....it's close, and certainly picturesque. Compo is great and clarity is perfect. Well done.

Maybe yes, there might be other better pictures from this wonderful place, but this one is also special because of the very good composition with those boats in the foreground, the excellent sharpness and adequate brightness!

Męme si la lumičre nétait pas la meilleure,les couleurs sont ici trčs agréables!Les barques et les personnages apportent de belles couleurs vives dans l'émeraude de l'eau et du paysage!L'îlot et son église blanche éclaircissent l'arričre-plan tout en donnant un charme fou ŕ la compo!

Bled signifie en Arabe pays, village.
Bled c'était aussi l'auteur d'un livre de grammaire qui n'existe plus sauf chez les collectionneurs.
Luminosité trčs appréciable qui baigne cette scčne.
Bel avant-plan qui donne une intéressante profondeur.

Maybe not the light you were hoping for but as you say, the reflected light on the water lifts the image. You composed it very well too, with the lady-in-red on a 'third', the tree framing the left side and the church over the lake. I haven't been here yet. It looks a beautiful place.

Bonjour Jonathan.
Męme si le temps est ŕ la pluie il reste la lumičre de l'été dans ce beau paysage. Un jour de brouillard comme aujourd'hui nous fait apprécier une photo de l'été. J'aime le premier plan avec les barques et les vacanciers. L'église qui sort de la verdure est un bon point de fixation pour le lointain.

Yes, Ithink the word "enchanting" is the best word to describe the feeling this photo exudes. Your composition is so well balanced. We cannot ask for more as there is no sun and hence no shadows but the glitter and reflection on the water took care of the highlights.

However I think I like the framing here best of your series of this view. The lovely wood boats and the pair in the FG contrast well with church sitting like a dream in the distance. and I love that bit of tree in the corner. Somehow, this seems like a scene that should be overcast.

J'aime bien cette photo "toute simple" de Bled et de son lac. avec cette petite pluie, il y a a un charme romantique évident. Les bleus et les verts sont trčs bien mis en valeur par les couleurs chaudes des barques.
Mais moi, lors de mon séjour dans le coin, il y a une dizaine d'année, c'est le Lac de Bohinj (ŕ une vingtaine de km) que j'ai aimé par dessus tout cf: une trčs belle photo de jeri (jorgi) sur sa galerie.
