‘Olvera - View over the wide surroundings’
Two more pictures of the Parroquia de Nuestra Seńora de la Encarnación (the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation) in Olvera.
Seeing these photos you would think that the church was built on the highest point of the village. But the remains of the Moorish castle are just a little higher. That’s where I took these pictures.
The photo in the WS was taken with the panorama option that my smartphone offered. I did cut off some of the sky.

Hallo Paul,

Hello Paul,
The main photo gives us a closer and somewhat better view of the church and its immediate neighbourhood, including two persons, but the "drone" photo in the WS is quite impressive too. It shows us the strong contrasts between the town and the surroundings. The sudden change from white walls to green fields and trees is stunning. In both photos the colours and light are very good, but slightly better in the main photo.
Best regards,
Gert

Bonsoir Paul,
La scčne est impressionnante. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'église paroissiale Notre-Dame de l'Incarnation. La qualité de la lumičre embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

A high Fantstic POV from the castle, main photo show in perfect outlines the town bellow and the valley with field.
The Church double towers and dome wonderfully upon the clear sky.
WS photo with the wider scope enable to comprehend the location area of this rural town.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hi Paul,
Fantastic point of view and you made a perfect use of it. WE have two versions both great. Here I would not notice that it was made by the phone. I am not sure whether you have already answered that question: did you take only phone for this trip and no camera at all?
I suppose with photography the issue is the available light. If the light is great every camera is able to take a great photo but the worse the light gets the more difficult it becomes and at certain point the bigger lens the better chance of success.

Hello Paul,
Thanks for climbing all the way up so we could have this view. Ha ha! ;-) The church looks very impressive with the landscape behind it, but there don't seem to be many people around. I assume it was still siesta time. Take care!

Hello Paul,
I like this view from an elevation, showing that the church is also an eagle's nest.

Hi Paul,
A classic Andalusian scene with the huge church and the terracotta roofs of the town below, with a beautiful blue sky. This hill is a good point of view for the church and the surrounding landscape. The workshop photo is also very impressive.

Hello Paul,
Now, that is what I call a real panoromic view. Those monks, knew where to build their church to make a good investment.
Only kidding. :)
Best Wishes,
Gy.
