Last day of the summer in Sitges. 15 minutes of beaultiful fireworks !!! Not easy to get a good shot holding the camera in the hands...

Sitges, Catalonia, Spain is a small city about 35 kilometres southwest of Barcelona renowned worldwide for its Film Festival and Carnival. Between the hills and the sea, it is known for its much-frequented beaches, nightspots, and historical sites.

While the roots of Sitges' artsy reputation date back to the late 19th century, when Catalan painter Santiago Rusińol took up residence there during the summer, the town in the 1960s became a centre for the counterculture on the mainland of Spain (then still under the dictatorship of Francisco Franco), and became known as a sort of "Ibiza in miniature".

Hello Mauricio,

This must have been a difficult picture to capture but not only have you created a terrific and colourful effect of the explosion of fireworks you also give us the illuminated church tower and the shapes of the palm trees to add atmosphere.

Nice composition and lovely explosion of colour, especially with the slow shutter speed. I like the way the firework lights up the church and palm trees in the foreground.

Fantastic POV and settings to produce such a lively firework photograph with a very fitting BG. The church could not be better positioned. so far I have never really tried my hand on fireworks, but looking at your result it would be worthwhile. I like your action shot, the high sharpness and the vibrant color hues. Well done. Thanks for your critique of my night shot from Kuala Kedah.

i fuochi d'artificio catturano sempre lo sguardo specie se in foto ben realizzate come questa.
Cattedrale e palme che fanno da base allo scatto con una bella colorazione dei fuochi in contrasto con lo scuro del cielo,

Bonita esta tua foto com este fogo colorido , foi uma boa escolha pelo formato vertical , bom uso do iso em 1600 năo tem ruido , em f/3.5 os detalhes ficarm muito bons , bonitas as silhuetas das palmeiras, parabéns!!
