What a nice idea...
I suppose the dance was intentionnal, and you have a full set of such pictures...
The darkness of the sky (which could perhaps have been a bit larger) repeats somewhat the darkness of the shadow.

Some time ago I wrote comments to another 'desert shadows' photo, which I regarded as the best on the subject. Now, after having seen your work, I am not sure which one I like more:-)
What you created here is almost a movie, not a still photography.
I can feel the heat and hear voices. And the best of it - the photo brings smile on my face! Really enjoyable work!

What an original idea with such a refreshing picture that despite the heat from the sand invades my mind with the best sensations from the summer that passed by ...Love the contrast of the sand with that imponent raging sun and of course that funny dance reproduced from the very dune ...had not heard about that canarian destination , playa del ingles that looks chillingly great ! Hi Liliana,
You have so many wonderful pics in your album! This is one of them! It's also rare among TE pics for having a degree of humour in it as well! :) You've got a nice composition here with great colours and the dramatic sky beyond is an interesting inclusion.
The only comment I can make is that the image quality seems to leave a little room for improvement, particularly in the line where the top of the sand dune meets the sky. It seems to be slightly blurry. Apart from that minor point, it's a great pic!

Dear Lily,
Yes! I couldn't resist myself to be one in the band wagon of the admirer's list.

The minimum words in the note has made the presentation more interacting for the beholder and there is your extraordinary skill.
The top sky and the shade at the bottom is undetachable in this composition to describe the story.

what is ironic is probably , when one looks up the sky , it is very cloudy appears as if rain is coming.

usually people are timid about deserts , as it makes the person vulnerable and makes survival difficult. but your happiness in being there is another fun aspect for this photo .
