This is a lonely? I have no idea what it´s called in english but in swedish it´s called gungbräda.
I think it looks so lonely...

Now I´ve got a tip that it´s called a seesaw.

I think it's call a "swing" but again I could be wrong, I'm french after all ;-).

Now, can you tell me (us) what were you trying do here? I'm not quite sure.
If you wanted to show that thing was lost in the snow, maybe you should have take the picture from a bit more distant point and use flash fill in slow sync mode (I think this mode is avalaible on your camera) using a tripod or anything you could set your camera on to avoid any motion blur.

Sorry, if I'm being a bit harsh but I'm sure you can do better.

Lydia the object is called a "seesaw" in english , and until the spring comes it will be lonley until all the children come out to play again, a nice idea.
Try this suggestion, with shots like this use a thin tissue or white handkerchief over the flash to lessen the strong light and soften the impact of the flash on close captures. well done and keep posting

I can see your point of view of wanting to take this photo. Snow covered playgrounds are interesting in winter, especially the grundbaga. If if go again to this place, trying sitting on one end of the grundbaga, and take a photo of the other end of it for a different view/angle. You have a great camera.

Roland is right "seesaw" or "teetertotter" is what most people in my country would call it. This one seems special in that it appears to be a 4 person (2+2) model. Your idea to take the picture in the snow was good as is the darkness to add isolation. I also like the way you are looking from the end. It seems a bit blurred, but I'm not sure I could do any better myself.
