I've been to Lindvallen too, Lydia, some years ago - I guess there's where I really learned skiing slalom, in 'Gustavsbacken'. I think it's a good place to start a skiing 'career'. Especially living directly in the downhill area was very convenient and great fun.

I guess that you just went out from the cottage and shot this image, with the camera set to auto. The birch trunk looks good with nice Winter colors, although very slightly out of focus (could perhaps be fixed in PP). But the snow covered branches don't stand out as they should against the white background.

The twigs closer to you got totally out of focus and are a bit confusing. It's a difficult motif and I guess also confusing for a camera set to auto, so allowing it to focus on something would have helped quite a bit.

I'll give you one smiley for a nice try and one smiley for going skiing - and loving it... ;o)
