Photographer's Note
I am coming from a city which is far from being "bicycle-friendly". So the more my fascination with many European cities where cyclists are respected participants of road traffic - there are special bicycle lanes, bycicle parkings and even bicycle road accidents.
Though I've never had a chance to see bicycle traffic jam :)
This shot was made in Orebro, but I've seen such scenes in Stockholm and in Oslo, too. I can only hope that cyclist was not hurt too much in that accident.

A nice capture Dmitry and a well composed picture. Nice B&W too.
I think however that the only thing hurt here was someones toes. This kind of bicycle accident has to do with letting out aggressions late some evening, a bit drunk and disorderly. Leaving your bike overnight in the center of a city is allways a risk. And if it has been kicked once, others will follow. But as all accidents and other unneccessary costs of society it boosts the gross national product and makes the country look more wealthy.

Greate capture. This bicycle has lost it's degnity. It looks sad. It can no longer be like "the others". It's a criplle.
I wish that u woln't "decapitate" the other bicycle. :)

A very well composed picture. Black and white was a good choice for this. I find it a bit humorous that the broken bicycle is still chained to the rack.

i think this usually happens to bicycles when they are left for a long period of time. here i've heard it called 'taco' tires.
nice exposure, good choice in black and white. nice composition and cropping.
cheers.

The tones here are really magnificent, Dmitry. Dark darks and light lights and lots of nice stuff in between. The subject is interesting and composition also effective.

Interesting shot Dmitry, could also be an indication for the lack of 'value' for some of the things around us. The 'use and throw away' mentality is rather well developed up here.. Interesting detail that the wreck is still locked..., so many just some 'funny guyes' did a little job bypassing.. Good catch and presentation

this is very well seen Dmitry but its a pitty that the other bike is not totally in the frame. B&W works well here. good job.

I don't mind the cropping of the other bike. I'd like a touch more space in the foreground - the near pole (and the third one) just touches the edge of the frame. I prefer either a definite crop, or some definite space...
I used to live in Holland, where squashed bikes like this were very common. As Ebbe says, it's no accident!
Anyway, very nice tonal range!

Very well conceived and executed.
