Hi Fred,

This is a good photo, with great light on the mountains, and a good composition. But the clouds are overexposed. Did you use a polarising filter? If you did, then you might need a graduated neutral density filter to darken the sky.

Another way to deal with bright sky is to underexpose the photo so that the sky is correctly exposed and the bottom half of the photo is too dark. Then you use Photoshop or similar software to lighten up the bottom half of the photo.
