Photographer's Note
It was on an early chilly January morning when I took this picture on the lonely boat station of Brunnen, a tiny village located in the central region of Switzerland. What caught my eye was a distant boat on the horizon which had set out for a trip despite the heavy clouds forming over the lake.

A lovely first post! I really like the atmosphere in this scene, with the oncoming storm, the mist over the hills, and the highlights contrasting with the strong silhoettes. Well captured!

Hi Olga,
The weather here looks really dramatic. Although looking at the exposure details it actually was brighter than it seems. It's a beutiful place. The little pier in the middle distracts jus a little bit. Better point of view (POV in TE language) might be a step or two to left.

Hi Olga,
Nice start with this interesting image. The mystic atmosphere is very emotional - I can't decide whether it is sad or not.
I like that how the boat is heading to the nowhere...
The relatively small DOF helped to enhance this feeling.
