Photographer's Note

AARBURG :est située au bord de l'Aar, ŕ 412 mčtres d'altitude. Ŕ 3 kilomčtres au sud-ouest d'Olten, elle se trouve ŕ proximité du principal nud ferroviaire de Suisse et de l'important carrefour autoroutier
le château fort a été construit sur la cluse de l'Aar vers la fin du XIIčme sičcle par les comtes de Frobourg. Un document de 1123 mentionne le lieu sous le nom d'Areburc.

Ŕ la fin du XIIIčme sičcle, les comtes de Frobourg ont vendu le château aux Habsbourg. Le château a été annexé par Berne en 1415. Il est devenu la résidence du bailli. En 1803, ŕ l'indépendance du canton d'Argovie, il fut transformé en arsenal et en pénitencier.

Le premier pont fut construit en 1837, auparavant, le passage de la rivičre était assuré par un bac.

Le 4 mai 1840, un incendie a ravagé le village, détruisant l'église, vingt-huit logements et trois tavernes, faisant 68 sans-abri.

J'aime beaucoup cette vue! L'architecture des bâtiments est merveilleuse et trčs attirante!
La netteté de votre photo est trčs bonne et vous avez controlé la lumičre superbement! Un excellent point de vue pour composer cette image magnifiquement! Je trouve un peu de "noise", surtout dans le ciel, mais j'adore la scčne quand-męme!

There is certain illumination in this landscape of dream, that allows to visualize great and beautiful tonalities.

Not if it is to seem mine, but it has just a little bit of noise in the sky, which not inside for anything in the image generally.

Good composition and perfect frame, from a right point of view.

this looks like a beautiful postcard! The blue sky and a funny white cloud above the reddish roofs and proud steeples enliven the view very much and make it very picturesque! Excellent panoramic scene where you can see so many interesting historical objects all together, at the same time! Indeed, Switzerland has a lot to offer to a photographer and a painter!
