Photographer's Note

Laufenburg is a beautiful little old town by a narrow curve of the river Rhine. Laufenburg was first mentioned in historic documents in 1207. This Swiss municipality shares history with the German town of Laufenburg on the northern side of the river. The two Laufenburgs were separated in 1802 when region south of the river was joined to Helvetic Republic.
