Veil of water, a photo from Bern, West

Photographer's Note

Storm approaching across Thunersee after a few really hot days. When the climate changes the average temperature rises causing long and hot summers. But evaporated water has to rain down anyway. Maybe more and more in tropical like afternoon torrents.
This storm didn't rise with strong wind and waves. Luckily so as I was on a ship between Interlaken and Spiez.

BLS has a fleet of nine ships cruising across lake Thun.

Hello Kari,
j'ai connu des changements brusques de temps en Suisse et ils sont vraiment impressionnants.
J'aime beaucoup ce genre de phénomčne, accompagnés de vents puissants, de pluies et d'éclaisrs et de de tonnerres, on sent que la nature vit et nous-męme aussi par la męme occasion.
Une photo qui rend trčs bien cette atmosphčre plus qu'inquiétante.

Hi Kari,
This reminds me of the sort of thing I often see here in NZ as well - a wall of rain coming towards me! It's never nice knowing I'm about to get soaked to the skin.
In spite of the very low light in this scene, you've still captured considerable detail and enough contrast to give the image good definition. Well done!
