The glaciers at Bernina Pass, "Piz Bernina"

The Bernina Pass (el. 2328 m.) (Italian: Passo del Bernina) is a high mountain pass in the Bernina Range of the Alps. The Pass is one of the most beautiful routes in Europe. The winding highway through mountain peaks can be lined with snow as late as June. Aerial Tram cable cars rise to the mountain peaks all year at the Diavolezza Nordic Park where skiing is a short train ride from St. Moritz on the tracks of the Rhaetian rail line.

Now thats a view! Good depth in this one with the darker trees in the foreground leading to the lighter ones.

What a beautiful landscape, fantastic! Very majestic and wild, wonderful play of light, good exposure althought the trees in front could be brighter and show a bit more details, very good composition and natural colours,

Wow Georg ... You have done a very good photo here. I specifically like you imaginative point of view coming accross the lake to the high mountains. This is a crisp, well contrasted, colorful shot. You have also just the right amount of gamma (light) and it aids in seeing details and perspective. Great work. I am relatively new to TE (you are also new).
