Photographer's Note

On that day I was starting my tour through seven countries (Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Belgium, France, Luxemburg and Czech Republic) from Kharkivs railway station to get by train to Lviv, where the bus travel was to set in.

The building in the background is Kharkivs Railway Post Office built in 1929 according to the project developed by the well-known Soviet architect Arkadiy Grigoryevich Mordvinov in the Constructivist architectural style. It is at the same Privokzalna Square as the railway station itself.

The yellow-blue (of the colors of Ukraines flag) word УКРПОШТА means Ukr[ainian] Mail.
