Photographer's Note
With horror, I observe on television how the inhabitants of Odessa prepare for the Russian attack. The Richelieu monument that I have shown is now up to the top covered with the sacs with the sand. Also near Opera, there are sacs with sand and barricade to protect the precious monument.
Protests against the war take place all over the world every day. The International Court of Justice in The Hague announced that Russia's attack on Ukraine was illegal. The request in this regard was submitted on February 26 by the Ukrainian government. The ICJ ordered Russia to immediately refrain from hostilities. Will Putin comply with this decision?
I admire the bravery and courage of Ukrainians and their President.
In Workshop #1 another view of the opera and a red bus. You can see on the back of it drawing of the most important monuments of Odessa: Richelieu Monument, Opera and the Colonnade, that I show in Workshop #2.
I have heard on Youtube beautiful Prayer for Ukraine - music from Don't cry for me Argentine, but new text (in Polish but with English translation). You can hear it here:

Ciao Malgo,Many resolutions against Russia but Putin seems to have no intention of listening, I can't imagine how this affair could end in front of the rubber wall erected by the Russian president. Now Odessa is also at risk, let's hope this does not become a souvenir photo of a destroyed building. Have a good night and thanks,Luciano

Hi Malgo,
The piedestrians corridor is eye-catching. The point of view is showing the details of the Opera of Odessa. The light is givng nice tints to the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo,
What a beautiful building with lots of wonderful details and decorations. The warm colours make a good contrast with the cloudy sky and the green bus and the blue truck add some extra colour as well.

Hello Malgo,
These may not be your best compositions, but they remind us of the beauty of Odessa and the cultural treasures now being threatened by the megalomaniac war criminal in Moscow.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo,
It is with deep sadness that I consider how these beautiful buildings could just become a memory if the onslaught of Russian soldiers continues! Will Putin stop the attacks!!!
A few people from our village will be heading to your country, Poland, with money to buy goods for the many refugees who have been displaced. We had a musical evening and raffle, plus a gift box in the Community Shop, for villagers to donate whatever they could afford to help the cause. The school has has a massive response to donations of blankets, warm clothes and toiletry products!
I admire the resolute nature and bravery of the Ukrainian people and hope their tenacity will not waver. Also, the Polish people for their willingness to support the Ukrainians in so many ways!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

a marvelous building, excellent these sculptures and adornments typical of the 19th century. without the bus and the blue truck it would be better, but you couldn't to wait.
the arrogance of putin is the main problem in this war, as to disarm this terrible bomb named vanity? a man can do terrible things because its vanity.
take care

Hello Malgo,
Three impressive photos from Odessa. All the edifices are spectacular. I hope they are protected from harm (of course, the people, too). I am hoping this adventure will bring about Putin's end - but at what price?

Hello Malgorzata
A beautiful view of the square combined with the opera architecture. Alas, this beautiful country is being destroyed due to useless war. Excellent sharpness and exposure. Thanks for sharing

Hi Malgo.
Splendid this composition where you show us the beautiful building of the Odessa Opera, a wonderful architecture adorned with precious sculptures, also in the WS we see two other magnificent compositions.
Very good color and adequate lighting and sharpness to highlight the composition.
Very good work. I like.
All the best for you. Very best regards.

Hello Malgo
Beautiful building. It looks amazing, despite those hard-to-avoid vehicles.
About the war... the media demonizes Putin, but they didn't demonize Bush, even though he did the same.
Best wishes

Hello Malgo,
Nor do I have a photo of the opera house without any cars on it. I remember the building is located on very busy roads.
The truck does add a nice blue colour at the photo.
On a positive note, we can say that the windows of the green bus reflect the opera house.
A strange place for that bus to park. If it's just waiting to drive on, it is a dangerous place for the person with the hat to stand with his back to the traffic.
Great picture of the Vorontsov Palace Colonnade in the WS.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Malgo
A BIG thankyou to Poland for hosting millions of refugees from Ukraine, more than any other country. Looks like Bucharest. It would be a tragedy for this city to be destroyed. Tfs!
