Photographer's Note
This photo presents a detail from St. George's Cathedral in Lviv (Архикатедральний Собор Святого Юра).
You can see here St. George killing the dragon.
I have showed previously the whole façade of this magnificent cathedral:
https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Ukraine/West/Lvivska//photo1543839.htm
And also a whole church from a distance:
https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Ukraine/West/Lvivska//photo1544479.htm
I will add one more photo in the workshop with a closer view of the lower part of the façade.
I thought this picture goes very well with the present day situation in Ukraine. Obviously the dragon symbolizes an opponent who is extraordinary strong, and yet the legend says that due to unique virtues of St George, he was able to kill the dragon defending people who were exploited by the strong bully.
As terrible as it may sound, the world would be so much better without some people on it...
Legend of Saint George and the Dragon
The tradition tells that a fierce dragon was causing panic at the city of Silene, Libya, at the time George arrived there. In order to prevent the dragon from devastating people from the city, they gave two sheep each day to the dragon, but when the sheep were not enough they were forced to sacrifice humans instead of the two sheep. The human to be sacrificed was elected by the city's own people and one time the king's daughter was chosen to be sacrificed but no one was willing to take her place. George saved the girl by slaying the dragon with a lance. The king was so grateful that he offered him treasures as a reward for saving his daughter's life, but George refused it and instead he gave these to the poor. The people of the city were so amazed at what they had witnessed that they became Christians and were all baptized.

Hello Mariusz,
Unless mentiomned, I would not see the dragon.
a fine upwards POV upon the statue atop the Cathedral.
Wonder where in older eras there were dragons in Europe...
Good afternoon,
Ike
*** The THY plane you gave critique was one of my first trials of planespotting before realizing I need a Canon DSLR for that purpose. Thanks.

Pozdrawiam serdecznie

Hi Mariusz,I know San Giorgio very well, he is the patron saint of my village and the dome of our basilica is frescoed with the scene of the killing of the dragon. Two beautiful memories from Lviv, hoping your wish will come true. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz.
Very good note and precious the legend of Saint George, in Spain there are many sculptures of the Saint and the dragon as well.
Here you achieved a sensational perspective from below, since I have gone to see the photos you refer to and I see that it is at the top of the façade of the cathedral.
A fantastic photo, with beautiful natural colors, very good lighting and excellent sharpness.
Very well done. Love it.
Enjoy the weekend.
Very best regards.
Luis.
