Photographer's Note

Trek Earth seems as a stranger to me these days, but I sat down this evening for a little look and found today two years ago I posted my first photo. I thought I ought to post another to mark the occasion!

I chose this out of all that I might as it was a photo taken today, which seems appropriate, and in part explains why I dont see so much TE. If I had called it School Run Three ( School Run One and Two here and here) it would explain it all, maybe. Two little boys ! They soak up the hours like sponges.

This particular view is from part way down Ash Fell and usually affords some sort of delightful spectacle, and this lunchtime was no exception. This looks towards Shap Fells and the Lake District, the inversion is hanging over the River Lune at Tebay, J38 on the M6.

The old pre-motorway main road to Scotland, the A6, navigates Shap Pass over the skyline dead centre of the view, the notorious Shap Summit on the West Coast ( rail ) Line is to the right of picture.

For Google's view on the matter, do no more than look here.
