Wonderfully mysterious Brian, your light capture and shadow play on the building add drama. Who or what lies behind the door? I like the soft colours very much. Best regards Rosemary

Hi Brian
Really well observed and taken shot. Wonderful play of shadows and low light. The shadow of the tree branches cast on the wall and doors look as if the shadow is embracing the house. Colors and lights are superb, great detail on the stonewrk and doors with crispy textures. Awesome shot, Congrats

Hi Brian,
The contrasts between light and dark are very aesthetic. I love the amazing forms of this architecture, and the texture of the walls, and shadows. Excellent creative work, and masterfully done. Bravo.
Have a nice day

Hello Brian!
I'm always embarrassed when these "mixed" style, I see buildings. Téglaépítészet the English mixed with the "eastern" form-world. And what a surprise: this thing work, not interfering, and harmonious.
In this respect, I love England. Both conservative and modern. The photo is good. Stands out from the darkness at the door. Nice detail.
Sincerely,
Csaba

I saw this one earlier on and was struck by the spooky mood, the stark shadows and strong light. Powerful image. I almost expect Nosferatu to appear from behind the shadows. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Brian,
one more fantastic capture from that unusual for England architecture. This one is less impressive but the detail is very pretty as well. The light is attractive too with so much shadows all around, they create a very unusual atmosphere.
Very well done,
M

dear Brian,
a beautiful picture of wonder old door in unusual light condition,
its original design is strange, and in this shadow situation it looks like the door toward the unknown magical space…
lighted stone surface is beautifully shining, it makes the view more mysterious,
thank you for your excellent shot,
Akihisa

the light on the door is really extraordinary and gives the door mysterious appeal, I wonder what time of the day the picture was taken.
Really beautiful.
