This photo was taken at sunset in January 2001, looking out over snow-covered fields in Rayne, nr Braintree in Essex. It was taken with an extremely cheap camera, so the quality isn't very good I know, but I acually rather like the slightly blurry effect.

Post-processing - Resizing, and brightened slightly in PS.

It's like a sight from a cozy indoors into the cold outdoors... very Nordic sight :D
I agree with you that the blurry effect works quite well :)
I enjoy the colors and the unsharp shapes of the trees. Lovely shot :)

i like it too, there's a lot to say for cheap camers's, its in the eye of the beholder
