Very great picture! I like a lot your dramatic shot. Great colours on the ground, fantastic sky, with that small boat... Those buildings, being so far on the horizon on the horizon, help feeling alone and quiet. Bravo!

Hi Chris,
Nice shot, but I would try not to let the horizon in the middle of the picture. A bit less grass and more sky ;-)

Ropes and old boats - they could tell us more about the weather than we ever could imagine! Great capture of this land/seascape. The colours are beautiful, and the composition perfect. Not sure if it is just shadow of a touch of over burn, but the grass either side of the boats hull seems a little dark... a fine capture neverless - but what are the Giraffes?! I know bones of tigers and rhinos from bygone days have been found in the depths of the North Sea, but I didn't know there were Giraffes still roaming :)

Taken from a great perspective-I really enjoy this image--I like the expanse of foreground, so many folks would have taken this as just a flat shot of a fishing boat and you have used imagination and thought to make it different and unique-well done--

Hi Chris,a good POV;I like the amount of f/g that you have kept in the picture, it adds to the feeling of dereliction.The colours are natural and the sky helps the mood of your shot.
Are those cranes in the b/g?Is that part of Harwich port?
