Photographer's Note
This picture was taken on a school trip to the London Eye. I like the view from the capsule of London and the Thames and especially the sunlight on the House of Parliament.

I like this one, Malcolm. The aerial view on London with the HOP and the River Thames would already have been nice, but the way you managed to include the two "capsules" of the eye is really valuable for the composition and greatly enhances the sensation of height. The light falling onto the parliament is also nice. I think you could try and work a little on the contrast, and also as you're only using 69KB of your 200KB allowance with this one, you should be able to post a bigger and less compressed version of this. Nice one, keep shooting and posting ;-)

Cher Malcolm,
Impressionnant. Trčs belle lumičre.
Un grand merci pour le partage.
Very well done Malcolm.

Nice image Malcolm!
Great composition with the river coming into the photo from the bottom right corner, then leading your eye into the panorama. The inclusion of the capsule in the lower left corner, helps to remind the viewer where you are. Buses on the bridge give good scale to this, and the depth of field is pretty good considering Londons pollution levels!
Well done!

Hi Malcom, This is one cool shot!. I think I also seen a night of this image somewhere. The scene is very beautiful and also considering the awesome height to where this shot was taken. I think adding some contrast might improve things a bit. Well Done!

What a terrific picture! I have seen many shots of the Houses of Parliament from ground level but this picture gives the scene a whole new dimension.

Hi Malcolm,
This is from the new londoneers amusement that you have your point of view.
This is a very good photo, and as I remark you used a excellent PC600 (Had one and was very satisfied).
Deep, a good choice of framing in this composition,
I like it

Great view indeed Malcolm - Too bad I diden't have the patience to wait two hours for this at my last visit to London. I like the shadow of a cloud you got on the Themes

Nice view over London , a little bit more to right you still had those 4 persons in the capsule and a broather view down, fine sunny light on the parlement, you could gain a lot with sat+ or by using the burning tool at 12% in the shades.

Indeed a very good shot from the famous "Eye" Malcolm...I really love the different than usual aproach in the composition and framing and also the way you did use Thames to lead the eye through the frame!

Good visibility on the day of this shot has helped. Composition with Pod in bottom left and sunlight patch on HOP is good.

Hey, great view of the river in this shot, so many other things to take notice of also! I like the fact that you can see the other capsle in the photo as well. It lets the viewr know that your on the eye.
Im guessing that your a teacher, as you say your on a school trip, but in your profile you say youre getting back into photography after 15 years!
Good shot and well done!
