Photographer's Note

British government allowed recently further one day trips and not only to exercise but also to relax. That is really all I need. But of course, as soon as the declaration was announced the stretch of the good weather has ended. As I mentioned multiple times, I am too often frustrated with rules which are the same for people living in crowded London and in sparsely populated North East England. The area where I live is rich in desolated open spaces very suitable for socially distanced exercise or relax.

Redcar is a beach town which is nearest from Middlesbrough but because it is just south from the Tees River exit to the North Sea, the views from the wide, clean, and sandy beach are quite industrial. It is not the most dangerous but also not the safest place around. For those reasons, my first choice for a beach walk is usually neighbouring Saltburn.
