Photographer's Note

This picture was taken in the historical town of York, which is a truly beautiful town to visit with many attractions inluding the castle, Minster, Railway museum, dungeons and castle museum. You can take a guided boat trip down the river (or even a night time ghost trip if you are feeling brave!). Unfortunately so far I have not managed to take a trip as the river floods often meaning the water is too high to allow boats down the river and under the bridges.

i cant believe this photo has been left uncritiqued, it's simple yet beautiful! very serene, very scenic. natural colors, good job in capturing them. framing can improve a bit though, either capture more of the sky or more of the water (i'll personally go for more of the water). good job, thanks for sharing. i like this better than similar shots that have obviously spent more time getting tweaked in photoshop! :)
