Photographer's Note
A follow up shot to the " Shadow " image , of a seat found at Royal Horticultural gardens at Wisley
Because of the very strong sunlight when this was taken, I thought this would look better in B/W
Tech) unsharp mask 40 , contrast plus 15 , bright minus 25

b/w's very nicely done - good composition, too. Would be nice to have a dark figure sitting on the bench somewhere.

Lovely composition, I second Greg's idea of a figure on the bench, preferably at the end to prevent the eyes from falling out of the picture.

I love the composition and how the shadows add to the B&W tones, sharpness

Good choice with the lighting situation, but the B/W also works well to emphasize the form and texture of the interesting bench.

A very graphic shape and form, well seen and captured your diaginal view point as given the scene movement and I think you got the cropping just about right. I am not sure if a figure on the bench would make for a better shot, as it would break the graphic lines and shape. Maybe another picture with figure included would make another different picture. very well done.

beautiful shot! Fantastic angle and I the black and white only makes a better contrast.

Wow, a very good composition. great lighting and wonderfull b&w tones.
Excellent angle and food DOF. Most of all, I like the holes on the bench's back and their shadows.
Well seen and very well done!

I like it a lot! Nice contrast, great framing. My eyes keep following the pretty bow... Very attractive!

A very nice pic! A nice pattern and a good choice for b/w.
However, I would suggest increasing the contrast between the ground and the bench, a tighter crop, and a slight rotation.
I took the liberty of making a workshop.
Overall a very striking pic!

So beautiful bench, what a shape. Beautiful angle, nice poet on B&W, nice composition, good on definition too. Indeed beautiful.

Very well seen Roland.
The composition here is great, the way your eye travels up the bench and into the frame.
Randomcameraguy's ws makes this a perfect shot.
Well done.

Wonderful capture, a lot of space, beautiful curves. Both workshops are lacking any sens. I really do not understand why ppl try to change other ppl's works without even realizing the visual idea behind the original.
