a superb image, the bw conversion works well here, the sky is nice, the back light well managed, also the shadows are great.

Nice punchy image Martin, I love contra jour light and this one taken under very testing conditions works well. The vertical thirds composition succeeds nicely and adds good depth. My only concern is that the houses on the left have a bit to much to say and tend to dilute the impact. A bit of judicial burning would save a reshoot.
By the way just browsed your photos and there's a lot of excellent work in there.
