Old Red Waterwheel, a photo from Antrim, Northern Ireland

Photographer's Note

This old vintage red waterwheel is located on the Glenariff River in the Glens of Antrim. Apparently it can still be used and only requires some minor maintenance to bring it back to full working condition. Working or not it still looks an impressive bit of engineering from a bygone age.

You chose a lovely angle with the waterfall if subject.
A perfect way you froze de water as a nice artwork.
The old watermill are a nice addition.
Also excellent depth and perspective.
