Photographer's Note
Castle Stalker is a four storey tower house set on a small islet on Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe, west of Scotland. It is located about 1.5 miles (2.5 km) north east of Port Appin, and is visible from the main road about mid-way between Oban and Fort William. The islet is accessible from the shore at low tide from Port Appin.
In recent times the castle was brought to fame by the Monty Python team.
This picture was taken from the road that goes down from Glencoe on the coast side. Weather conditions were , as usual, pretty dim and rainy. I took the picture using a hp5 film (black and white), developed it in the dark room and scanned it into photoshop, where I did some cropping and contrast correction.
I hope you like it.

B&W works here. A good composition too.
The image is very small... try uploading to the max filesize allowed on TE. I always crop so the longest side of my image is 800px.

Nice in b&w, which is unusual for a castle picture. But the horizon seems quite tilted (left side is higher). I know that's easily fixed because people do it on TE all the time(but I personally don't know how).Otherwise, composition and POV are great!

I like that you took this one in black and white, and i dont think that the picture is tilted, i know that your horizon is tilted, but you have straightened the castle, which is the main focus.
Thanks
Harry
