Second of my pictures of the Eilean Donan Castle.

This time, I preffered a POV from the other side of the castle.

Here, we can enjoy a view with the lovely sunny and warm Scottish typcall weather...

First, the date taken, it seems a bit odd!!!
The photo is marvellous, with great colours and an excellent composition. The overcastted sky created a good light and no shadows. I love it. Well done.

Ah, that's the classical view from the car park. Not bad! In spite of the cloudy sky you managed to obtain nice warm colours, and the line of the bridge (in diagonal) creates a good sense of depth. Good definition with lovely textures.

Hi Oscar,
This angle looks more familiar. It looks so lonely on rough Scottish landscape. Green and brown tones fit well.

Hola Oscar,

The previous version cloud please me more because there we seee the castle upraising in the landscape, this is more overal view with very bright strange light. Hardly contrast on the mountains on the left and in the sky, but with lots of detail to see how this great castle stands in his surrounding.

I really like this "typical sunny scottish weather". Scotland would not be associated with mysteries without it!
Fortunately you managed to catch some colors, thus the composition is really nice!

La luz no esta la mejor pero da ambiente y parecia muy muy salvaje si no habia tanta gente. Me gusta gu punto de vista con el puente y todo esa roca.

I always like to see photos of this castle, as it is not only in a beautiful setting, but is the castle of the Scottish clan McRae, which I am from on my father's side!
Nice composition of a 'classical' kind, with warm, earthy colours and a thick brooding sky. Your viewpoint is a popular one for the castle, but the light and colour tones are unusual. You did well for a grey day.

Hi Oscar:

I've seen tons of shots of this castle, but this one is special. I don't know whether it's the gray skies, the post-processing, the composition, or what, but this shot is very unique and feels like something out of the 18th Century. I can almost see Bonnie Prince Charlie leading the Jacobites in the distance (other than the tourists, of course). :) Great shot, I'm very impressed.
