Photographer's Note
In the disused slate quarries above Llanberis in the Snowdonia mountain range, lie these rows of slate stuck in the ground, whether they are for real as a mark of respect for the workers who lost there lives here or they have been left for some other explanation I do not have the answer for, but all I do know know is the view of Snowndon Wales largest mountain they would have is very fitting to pay them the respect.
Thank you for your comments

Nice picture. The combination of colours and light is very good. The mountains in the background look very far and hazed providing a nice contrast with the bright colours in the foreground.

Hello John,
You have an interesting subject here, in this fine landscape with interesting details!
Image with good clarity in the colours and with fine details...
Only one thing... maybe if you move your POV a few steps to the right side, then you'd avoid the slates to interfer with the nice lines of the stone wall in middle distance..?
Greetings,

Bonsoir John

Joli travail.

It looks almost like a scene out of Ladakh, with the stones and the barren hills. Beautiful gold tones in the grass. Very nice composition (though perhaps you could have left just a little space between the stones and the bottom of the frame.) Well done. Regards, Ken.

Hi John, nice shot. I like the way you have shown the slate coming from the left of the frame to give some perspective and also included the excellent view. Great colours, lighting and details.
Well done and TFS.
Dean.

nice picture Johnny
I like the colours and texture. Shame the fence running diagonally got too dark and the mountains were a bit hazy.
