Photographer's Note

Day three of the race: we have reached the first (and only) way point of the race, near Aberdeen in Scotland. The thin darker line on the horizon is the coast of Scotland. This is the only shore we will see untill the North Sea is crossed and we reach the Netherlands.
Three days ago, we were in Bergen and the race started at 9 pm, this is means a cruise of about 40 hours days to cover about 347 (English) miles, 560 kilometers, thus about 302 nautical miles. Between 7 and 8 nautical miles per hour, a very good average spped for Asgard II.
Another shore view (less interesting) in workshop.
Just a few moments after, we are going to tack to take our new direction, South- South East, but with a much less favorable wind.
