Photographer's Note

On a train ride back home today, on the picturesque and well known Settle-Carlisle line, I was lucky enough to be able to watch the scenery as opposed to the road. The best view was through an impossibly dirty window, but the other way - was this.

I just like the crepuscular rays, and the trees in silhouette in the foreground. The hills in the mid range are the northern fells of the Lake District.

No map ref today - there is really nothing to pin point.
