Photographer's Note

What worries me nowadays is that I occasionally trawl through photographs which I took five years ago when I first became the proud owner of a fine DSLR and then discover that some of the pictures I took in those days appear often far superior to those which I take today! Very depressing, despite all I thought I had learned from this site and all the good friends I have made here.

Anyway, this one, taken nearly five years ago, is of Callendar House, near Falkirk. This fine building is now owned by Falkirk Council, has been subject to extensive restoration and is now a museum, well worth a visit. You can read more about it on the Falkirk Council website here or, if you wish to read more detailed information, that is once again available on the wonderful "Undiscovered Scotland" website here.

As was usual five years ago, I shot this one in JPEG and it has been edited in PSE6. Nothing much done other than level it (I have never been able to hold a camera level and most likely never will), adjust lighting slightly, resize and sharpen.

As always, all comments/critiques/advice are welcome!
