Easy to see which way the prevailing wind is in this spot:-) A minimalist image beautifully presented with very good light and appealing natural colours. Excellent clarity. I like those swirling wispy clouds.

Eastbourne a very nice area in England, my friend is previous go week dances in Eastbourne.
Lonely and alone middle of the nature of these small tree.
Colours and presentation are amazing.
Excellent composition with a lot sharpness and clarity.

Hello Brian,
The small bush seems to have clung to the ground despite the exposed position. I like the large area given to the skywith its wisps of cloud. I guess the yellow flowers are buttercups - gorgeous carpet. A great shot to have taken - very well done.

Hi Brian,

I wish I could stop being so repetitive, but you keep pulling me in with the blue's! :) An absolutely wonderful example of "less is more." These types of images evoke such a calming mood, one where I would enjoy laying in that field under the tree and taking a nap. The clouds almost look to have a dry ice type of effect, somewhat wispy and smooth...if that makes any sense at all!? Plain and simple, and simply beautiful!

Even without looking at the title, this image does imply solitude. The loneliness of the tree is emphasised by the emptiness around it, the big sky and the obvious presence of hostile elements - strong wind visible in the shape both of the tree and the wispy clouds above it.

Brian. Being a Meteorologist in a past life I can really appreciate your particular handling of skies in your picture. The mimimalist approach has worked extremely well in the image with the Cirrus in the background and a small Cumulus in the foreground. Plus Blue Sky with Green foreground work exceptionally well.
Nothing bad to say about this image.
