Photographer's Note
There are a lot of to see in Lincoln: magnificent Cathedral, Magna Charta on display, covered bridge, old houses, the castle - Bev showed some beautiful pictures of them. But it is nice just to stroll around (even in rain). So here three pictures (this one and two more in WS) from the street, with striking colours of facades. Here I fould original these windows and red doors.
I hope you will like it.

Hello Malgo,
Three quite interesting photos. In a way I prefer the workshops, because those buildings look more genuine and less kitschy than these. On the other hand there is a person included in this photo, which is usually an advantage to street photos. But along with your note they all make Lincoln sound very interesting.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo,
Three very interesting shots form Lincoln. I know exactly where this one is!
You had a tough choice deciding which one to post as they all show different aspects but, on the whole, I think this one just wins because of the figure, and it does, also, show how old terraced houses can be updated in a modern way.
I love how the wet pavements reflect the strong colours. You were right to leave out the sky; on a day like this, it adds nothing to the photograph.
I think you and Mariusz have as much passion for Lincoln as I do!
Thanks for sharing this,
Bev :-)

Ciao Malgorzata,
J'aime beaucoup cette composition. Une trčs belle rue oů les couleurs font oublier le mauvais temps. On dirait que les propriétaires sont toutes des femmes. Le personnage est parfaitement intégré dans l'ensemble.

Hello Malgo, the bright colours remind me of Dingle in Ireland, where every colour of the rainbow adorns the shops and houses!
Thank you for all three pictures.I like the tight crop here, plus the figure walking along the street.
The wet pavements reflect the light beautifully.
Regards Jean.

A fine English trio of shots, Malgo. Saturation right up to the limit to bring out those wonderful strong colours. They seem to need it, given the weather...
This is Englishness.

Hi Malgo,
very unusual to paint a house in shocking pink colors:) Well, I guess that is a good reason for that and it is obviously popular among tourists to take a photo or two of this eye-catching street. A good choice to include a person in this colorful scene, tfs!
Have a nice evening/

Hi Malgorzata
Des façades attractives pour ces couleurs et décorations, cela me fait penser a Temple Bar en Irlande
Belle journée

Hello Malgo
I haven't been to Lincoln for quite a few years now (it's not on the coast!), but your photograph makes me think I should go back. Anywhere where the inhabitants are this eccentric and bonkers must be worth going to. I'm reminded in a curious way of Burano near Venice. But the rain is definitely English!

Hello Malgo,
Love this for its strong colours and diagonal, and of course for the woman striding along the wet pavement. Lincoln is a lovely city to visit so I am glad that you have been there.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hello Malgo.
A delightful composition, full of chromaticism .... You would not think to see all this colorful houses, in a population of UK, you think more gray, but certainly it helps this gives great joy in the gray days and rainy.
Excellent composition and sharpness.
Wonderful bright and colorful.
Very well done. I like.
Have a nice day.
Best regards, my friend.

Hello Malgo
For sure interesting and striking colours. The rain even provided some reflections in the wet street. Looks like an area with lots of photo opportunities. Great work:) Thanks.

Hi Malgo,
What a brilliant trio of bright and colourful photographs! Of course, when we think of Lincoln we think of the magnificent cathedral and not wonderfully colourful street scenes like these.
Each photograph is so individual in its own style and composition and each is excellent. However, my favourite just has to be Colours of Lincoln: red - I just love the lighting in that one, the wonderfully rich and deep tones of red and the gorgeous reflections in the wet pavement and cobblestones.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Malgorzata
I like the stylized grain sheaves on the facades of the buildings. A good angled pov showing 2 sides with excellent sharpness. The green and magenta colours are perfect polar opposites. Tfs.

Hi Malgo,
Wow, those colours are vibrant, they glow even on this rainy looking weather. Those barley looking paintings are quite artistic too. Thanks for showing, this is certainly something different from typical brown brick English town views.

Hello Malgo,
I like how the perspective, the successive patterns and the walking lady lead our glance to slide across the frame, watching the alternation of elements and colours and inspecting how the colours have changed and enlivened the traditional urban architecture. I like the intense colours breaking through the gllomny day. The lady looks like a mural figure come alive:) You have two great versions of the same theme in the workshop. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Czesc Malgorzata,
poniewaz w to miejsce akurat nie dotarlem wiec nigdy w zyciu nie zgadlbym ze to bylo zrobione w Lincoln :)
Niesamowite kolory ktorych nie powstydzilyby sie irlandzkie miasteczka.
Mokre jeszcze chodniki polyskuja jakby byly swiezo wypolerowane.
Niesamowite kolory!
Pozdrawiam serdecznie,
