Photographer's Note
The statue of the boy in Portsmouth. Instead of a frontal view, I liked the idea of showing what he is seeing. In the WS you can see his portrait and that he doesn't like, when people climb on him.

Hello Gyorgy,
A great view of the harbour, I really like the vertical composition and the juxtaposition of the sculpture and the large sailboat. Excellent sharpness and clarity as well.

Hi Gyorgy
A well composed photo letting us see what the "boy" is seeing. Excellent contrast per usual.
Cheers

Hello Gyorgy, Nice statue of the boy and he has a wonderful view of the harbour. Why he doesn't like that someone would loki to sit on his knees? :). In colour it would be fine too but I like this black and white picture very much.
Kind regards MAlgo

Hello György,
On the thumbnail it's not immediately evident the boy is not a real boy. This was definitely the best way to show the statue from a much more interesting angle than a regular "portrait". It's not a bad view of the port, and as long as he isn't disturbed by climbers he probably enjoys sitting here. This could probably also have been in colours, but I don't disagree with your choice of B&W since the composition as such seems more important than the colours.
Best wishes,
Gert
PS I will soon start posting a lot of B&W photos. Very ugly ones.

Hello Gyorgy,
A fine study of this boy statue.
It is interesting to see the statue from a different viewpoint.
Have you used silver fx?
The sheens on the statue seem to indicate that.
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Gyorgy,
I like seeing the harbor through this young boy's eyes. :-) That statue is very life-like, and he has the perfect seat to watch the boats. The choice of B/W is also very nice. I almost feel like we're intruding on this boy's private spot to steal a peek of this view.

Hi Gy
excellent WS photos to make it funny and interesting :)
I wonder if he ever gets bored of the same view, perhaps he'd appreciate it if he could be turned around every once in a while hahaha. fun shot, I like your choice of pov. unusual and effective. cheers
