Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

I think some people were confused by my photograph, yesterday, which they thought was the treehouse and not just the access to the treehouse.

Today, you can see the treehouse and its huge size!

The Treehouse is built from sustainably sourced Canadian cedar, Scandinavian redwood and English and Scots pine. It sits high in the treetops in a copse of mature lime trees and looks as if it has been there forever.

Opened in January 2005, The Treehouse (largest in the world) is spread across 6,000 sq ft of complex buildings, linked by suspended walkways all accessible.

The Treehouse Restaurant can be found at the heart of the structure, beautiful and unique, with a log fire in the centre, trees growing from the floor, handcrafted wooden tables and chairs and screens created from fallen branches. Menus are created using the best of British produce and locally-sourced ingredients, to create an a la carte modern bistro style menu.

I will add a w/s showing some tables in the treehouse. (I did take photos inside the restaurant but cannot find them. Maybe I deleted them!!!)

Thank you for your interest, Bev :-)
