Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

My photograph, yesterday, showed the old vaccary wall and further down the lane is this old bridge (Winewall Bridge) which is now a listed building for its architectural features. The bridge can only be clearly photographed from this angle when the trees are bare, and, when standing in the carpark of the old Cotton Tree Inn.

There has been a bridge at this point over the stream since 1541 but the bridge was altered and reinforced and the present one exists since the early 19th century.

The stone buildings, though once shops, are now homes.

I will add a closer view as a workshop.

Thank you for your interest, Bev :-)
