Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,
(The photograph looks much sharper using New Tab!!)
WE had snow again but fortunately didn't stay for long.
This morning, I went for a walk this morning, when the weather was bitterly cold. The damage from the recent strong winds was evident in places, with branches down and fences wobbling.
This tree was secure and provided me with viewpoint for a different angle on St. Mary's Church.
I hope the weather is fine where you are and you have a lovely day, Bev :-)

Hi Bev,
The trees are helping to frame the church. The point of view is showing the details of the St.Mary's church. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Found a nice POV through the tree with green moss and the tower in sight, Beverley.
As written already, you do not have to trave;l long distances to find attraction near home, how wonderful.
A fine outcome even as the sky were cloudy and bitter cold weather.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Witaj Bev!
A bit of a mess with this composition, but an overall interesting sight.
The birch tree in the foreground and the church in the background are impressive.
Good colors and light.
I like tower.
Well done.
Good afternoon.

Hello Bev,
I really like that you had the photographic sense to use the beautiful old trees covered with moss for an unconventional composition. The church has been the focus of attention for so many people for so many years that it was high time to put it in the background.
Stockholm has been covered with snow for four days, it's quite cold and no thaw is predicted for at least another week.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Beverley,
Fine free view on the church while the birch overgrown with mosses is the real topic here.
Smart composition.
Thanks and regards,
Gerrit

Hi Bev,so a very strong start of winter in your village, the cold and wind after the snow, but today a good moment to exit and to take this lovely pic,the old tree seems like a natural open window to the church view,i like the bright colors despite the dark light, well done! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Beverley,
You made such good use of the forked tree and the other one standing in the middle to frame this charming little church in the distance. I like the green colours in the foreground as well, just as the little bit of blue in the sky.

Hi Bev
A well composed image. Ancient trees framing an ancient church. The green moss and lichen quite stunning.

Hello Beverley,
I like pictures of interesting or beautiful buildings with trees in the foreground that only hide part of the subject as we see here.
You were probably looking south as we find a lot of moss growing on the tree trunks.
Good depth, composition and sharpness.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Bev
A good view of the church framed by the tree trunks and a view that wouldn't be possible in the warmer seasons.
cheers

Hello my dearest friend
Ilike this photo with a hidden
mystery...which is the hidden castle...
But I wrote that this is the st Mary s Church
taken from a different angle...

Hi Bev,
Very creative composition, an original framing. This inspires me to revisit my local churches and play around with the available trees and tombs.
Great capture here, very well done,

Hi Bev,
Looks like you might be in for some wild weather later in the week. I like how the moss clad trees frame the bg stone tower. Tfs!

bev
a nice use of the trunk as a frame to the old church made in stone. nice the use of elements and the british touch of the compo.
we had a very windy storm yesterday with 7 mm of rain, not so much, but we became happy with the rain. humans and plantations are crazy for water.
take care

Hi Bev.
Ingenious and perfect composition, with this close-up of the tree trunks covered in part by moss, between them you have wonderfully placed the church and its tower filling gaps.
Wonderful image, sharpness, exposure, colors and POV are excellent.
Photo very well done. I like it
Enjoy a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
P.S. From what I've seen on TV. These days the storm "Barra" must be causing you problems, in Spain its effects reach the north of the country with strong winds, snowfall and rain.
Here in Madrid we only get the wind and the drop in temperatures.

Hi Bev,
This is a nice shot through the tree trunks to the old church. It feels like you have sneaked up on it and are trying not to be seen as you look upon the view. Were you up to some mischief there? The trunks look great with their lichen and textured bark. I would like to see the saturation increased a bit to liven up the greens of the moss and lichen.
